Sharon deserves a special mention. She has been with Andrew since the opening of Whitetip in 2012, when she was already a very experienced instructor and marine biologist with years under her belt in the tourism industry. Then in 2024 something extra special happened; Sharon became Fiji’s first local to attain the certification of SSI Instructor Trainer. Yes that’s right she trains the trainers and she is the first and only Fijian to do so. There is no higher level of certification in the dive world. How many dive operators have a marine biologist and Instructor trainer running their day-to-day operations in Fiji? – None!
